I am a middle-aged aspirant writer living in Wisconsin. For decades, I have lived two lives: one as a web developer building logic for the Departments of Education in Wisconsin and Utah, and another as a storyteller building worlds in my mind.
My path has not been easy. I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease) and battle severe hearing loss along with other health complications. These challenges have defined my resilience but limited my physical options.
Recently, the stability I fought hard to build has begun to crumble. Budget cuts in the public sector have decimated my web development business. As that door closes, I am looking toward the one door I have always dreamed of opening: Writing.
I have written novels and stories that beta readers and friends have called exceptional. Yet, the traditional publishing industry is a fortress I haven't been able to breach, and self-publishing on platforms like Amazon requires marketing budgets I simply do not have.
I am not asking for charity; I am asking for a chance. I built this website to showcase my work directly to you. If you are a reader, I hope you enjoy these stories. If you are an agent or publisher, I hope you see the potential that others have missed.
